You are now an Ambassador: First Steps
Congratulations, you are officially an Alignable Ambassador! 🎉
We are so excited that you are now officially joining the Alignable Ambassador community to start your local Alliance! Please take a moment and read the steps below to ensure a smooth start. If any questions arise, post to the Ambassador in Training group, and we’ll be there to help.
Here’s how to get started:
- Review your new Ambassador perks -- check out your new Ambassador badge on your profile (review the Our Recognition section) and your additional connection credits (check the top right corner).
- Update your Alliance Group's Image to reflect your local area. You can grab an Alignable Logo for your new group image in the right sidebar
- Create a Welcome Post in your group and PIN it to the top of your group. (Very important - even if there are no members yet!)
- Create a login to the Official Ambassador Dashboard by signing up here (remember this step & your password). This Ambassador Dashboard will be your go-to source for making your Alliance successful. Be sure you take the time to familiarize yourself with the material. We will continue to add to this area, so keep checking back.
- Start to invite members to your group! You can copy any of these pre-written templates. Modify them with your information and group URL and make them your own.
- Off to a good start! Start thinking about a venue (in-person/virtual), date/time, etc., that you would like to host your first event. Think about the name you would like to give your event and a description. This is where the Ambassador in Training group will help – post your questions, ideas, and thoughts in the group – this way, other Ambassadors can give you feedback. Stuck? No problem, join us in one of our live training sessions (posted in the group) and bring your challenge!
- Remember to post your 1st. event within the first 30 days of having your new Alliance group. It is important to create momentum as soon as possible.
- Now, Before you create your first Alliance event:
- Watch this video showing you and where to post your event for maximum visibility and promotion on Alignable.
- Complete this form to submit your events to the Alignable Team. Please schedule and register all your upcoming events at least two weeks in advance.
Once you have set up the Welcome in your Alliance Group, we will start inviting new members to your group. So don’t be surprised as people magically start to show up in your group. Still, keep reaching out personally and make sure you welcome the new members in your group. We can’t wait to see you get started!
Remember to take advantage of the Ambassador in Training group, ask all your questions, and join as many sessions as possible in the next 30 days.
